Given the current state of the world, the Kymetis Community will place an immediate focus on topics related to remote learning, but our hope is to create and sustain a long-term community to facilitate an efficient exchange of ideas and trends in education broadly. Our goal is to collect experiences, guides, and leading practices on a variety of learning topics, as well as connecting educators from various institutions, with the goal of consolidating and disseminating information. The following guidelines have been derived from community feedback and help us achieve our goal.
- This is an open community for anyone interested in the subject of education - all are welcome to join
- General topics are cross-discipline - discipline-specific topics will be added to cover narrow topics of specific interest
- Information will be categorized based on a people, process, technology approach, meaning there will be specific topics for various roles (instructor, student), useful tools (collaboration, interactive instruction, videoconferencing, learning management), and approaches to education (flipped classroom, blended learning).
- Please feel free to augment the baseline taxonomy - this is a living community that should evolve based on usage and the needs of its members
- We will pin a topic in announcements for a summary of the best wisdom collected - please review frequently for updates.
